Eligibility
This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees of Shark Club UK and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
To enter the competition, participants must:
  • Like the competition post
  • Follow Shark Club UK on Instagram or Facebook
  • Share the competition post
  • Comment on the post with their answer to the question: How many sharks are in the jar?
Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple comments or entries will not increase the chance of winning.
Competition Period
The competition opens on 05/02/26 and closes at 23:59 on 28/02/26. Entries submitted after this time will not be counted.
The Jar
The jar referred to in this competition is the physical jar located on the bar at Shark Club Newcastle. Images used in promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only and do not represent the jar used for the competition.
The Prize
The first correct answer submitted within the competition period will win:
Free wings for a year, defined as:
  • One portion of wings per week for 52 consecutive weeks
  • One portion is defined as 8 chicken wings
The prize:
  • Is valid for dine-in only
  • Can be redeemed at participating Shark Club UK venues (including, but not limited to, Newcastle and Gatwick)
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative
  • Cannot be transferred to another person
  • Missed weeks cannot be carried over, accumulated, or redeemed retrospectively
Winner Selection & Notification
  • The winner will be the first person to correctly guess the number of sharks in the jar
  • The winner will be contacted via direct message on Instagram or Facebook within 2 working days of the competition closing
  • If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, Shark Club UK reserves the right to award the prize to the next correct entry
Additional Costs
The prize does not include drinks, travel, or any additional food items. Any extras must be paid for by the winner.
Publicity & Data Protection
By entering, participants agree that their name and/or social media handle may be used for promotional purposes. Personal data will be processed in accordance with Shark Club UK’s Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties.
General
  • Shark Club UK reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time
  • Any breach of these Terms & Conditions may result in disqualification
  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform
